Specialist in neurosurgery. Creator of one of the world’s first novel brain tissue transplants to treat Parkinson’s disease (his name appeared in the Chronicle of the Twentieth Century). As one of the few in the world he conducted a series of brain surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass and deep hypothermia. As the first in this part of Europe he carried out the operation of the brain pacemaker implantation in the treatment of dystonia. The operation was carried out in conjunction with neurosurgeons from France. Also, as the first in this part of Europe he performed surgery to pacemaker implantation of deep brain structures in the Toutette syndrome. The operation was carried out in conjunction with neurosurgeons from Germany.
