MD, PhD Kornel Szczygielski

Dr Kornel Szczygielski is a Specialist in Otolaryngology. He is Deputy Head of the Department of Otolaryngology and Laryngological Oncology with the Clinical Department of Craniomaxillofacial Surgery at the Military Institute of Medicine, Central Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of National Defence. He gained his extensive experience in, among other places, the Netherlands, the USA, Austria, Germany and Lebanon.

He obtained his doctorate on the basis of a dissertation titled “Evaluation of haemostatic dressings in endoscopic sinus surgery.” In the treatment of otolaryngological conditions he uses the most modern surgical methods. He is a lecturer and participant at numerous conferences in Poland and abroad in the field of endoscopic sinus surgery, and takes an active part in the National Congresses of the Polish Society of Otolaryngologists – Head and Neck Surgeons. Rhinology is the Doctor’s main area of interest – the field concerned with the treatment of diseases of the nose and paranasal sinuses.
