I currently serve as an assistant professor at the Chair and Department of Otolaryngology of the SP CSK WUM Teaching Hospital, and also as a senior assistant at the Laboratory of Speech Pathophysiology and Upper Airway Endoscopy based at the Institute of Mother and Child, Day Hospitalisation Clinic.

About me

I am a graduate of the 2nd Faculty of Medicine at the Medical Academy of Warsaw. I completed my studies in 2003, receiving a diploma with distinction. In 2011 I was awarded (also with distinction) a doctorate in medical sciences. I hold specialist qualifications in otolaryngology (2012) and in audiology and phoniatrics (2017). I completed an accreditation course in the endoscopic evaluation of swallowing disorders (FEES), held under the patronage of the European Society for Swallowing Disorders. I have also participated in numerous Polish and international conferences, training programmes and workshops on laryngeal microsurgery, phoniatrics, care for patients with dysphagia, and cleft lip and palate. I have also attended courses on the treatment of swallowing disorders (held under the patronage of the European Society for Swallowing Disorders). I am a graduate of workshops run by Prof. Marcus Hess at Stimmklinik in Hamburg (one of the world’s leading voice disorder clinics).

Scope of activity:

  • diagnosis and therapy of swallowing disorders,
  • full otolaryngological diagnostics, conservative treatment of children and adults, particularly of diseases of the larynx, nose and paranasal sinuses,
  • comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of voice disorders in adults and children,
  • care for professional voice users,
  • conservative treatment of children and adults (particularly laryngeal diseases),

Diagnostics

  • endoscopic evaluation of swallowing disorders.
  • videostroboscopic laryngeal examinations,
  • laryngeal assessment using a flexible nasopharyngoscope,
  • evaluation of the nasopharynx (including assessment of the adenoid and the function of the velopharyngeal sphincter) using a fibroscope,
  • functional assessment of the voice organ through palpation and perceptual evaluation of voice quality,
