He is the author of numerous publications and presentations at Polish and international conferences. His output includes more than 30 scientific papers, published in, among others, “Urologia Polska” and presented at congresses of the Polish Urological Association (PTU) and the European Association of Urology (EAU). His work covers the application of HIFU in the treatment of prostate cancer, assessment of the dynamics of PSA concentration changes in patients after therapy, and the potential use of transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) in assessing the local stage of prostate cancer.
He has participated in international clinical trials and the annual conferences of the American Urological Association (AUA). He is also an active member of the Polish Urological Association and the European Association of Urology, and from 1997 to 2001 he served as vice-chair of the Kraków Branch of the PTU.
He is a laureate of a PTU award and of the Prof. Zew Wajsman distinction.
