About me

After completing my specialist training in Orthopaedics and Traumatology of the Musculoskeletal System at the Central Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Interior and Administration (CSK MSWiA) in Warsaw, I received a prestigious fellowship at the Orthopaedics Department of the University of California, Los Angeles, where I spent over a year training in sports orthopaedics and regenerative medicine. I also conducted research into the role of stem cells in musculoskeletal injuries.

Over the following two years I completed sub-specialty training in arthroscopy and reconstruction of the shoulder, elbow and knee at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Northfield and at the Trauma Centre of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Birmingham.

After completing my sub-specialty training in the British system, I won a competition for the independent position of Consultant in Orthopaedics and Traumatology with a sub-specialty in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at Wye Valley NHS Trust, where I worked from 2017 to 2019. During this time I provided surgical treatment of conditions of the shoulder girdle and traumatic musculoskeletal surgery, while also training resident physicians. In 2017 I received privileges to conduct private surgical practice within the Nuffield hospital network in the United Kingdom.

Since October 2019 I have served as Deputy Head of Department at Carolina Hospital.
