MD Viktor Kotiuk

I am a physician with 20 years of experience in treating musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. I currently work in Poland as a doctor (without specialist qualifications) and deal with the diagnosis and treatment of orthopaedic patients. In Ukraine I obtained the title of specialist in orthopaedics and traumatology of the musculoskeletal system.

I am the author and co-author of more than 180 printed scientific papers in orthopaedics, including 6 books/monographs, 81 articles and 7 patents. In 2005 I received the Scholarship of the President of Ukraine for talented young people. I was a member of the Kyiv branch of the All-Ukrainian Public Organisation “Ukrainian Association of Orthopaedic Traumatologists” and of the “Ukrainian Association of Sports Injuries, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy”.

I graduated from the Bogomolets National Medical University. In 2004 I obtained a medical specialist diploma with distinction; in 2006 – a master’s degree with distinction; in 2009 – a doctorate in medical sciences in Ukraine.

I regularly deepen my practical and theoretical knowledge. I attend practical courses in orthopaedics and traumatology, orthopaedic conferences/congresses and meetings of the orthopaedic scientific society. I hold numerous certificates from practical courses and from participation in conferences and congresses in orthopaedics and traumatology, including in Poland and other European countries.
