About me

From the beginning of my career my professional work has been closely tied to the pelvis, the acetabulum and hip joint replacement. For almost 10 years I worked at the country’s only Pelvic Injury and Pathology Department at one of the best teaching hospitals in Poland, in Otwock. It was there that I learned to manage the most severe cases from across the country.

At the same time I developed my knowledge of hip joint arthroplasty. I refined my skills in this area through many courses, including in Germany and France. My scientific work has also focused on the pelvis and hip joint.

To date I have implanted several hundred total and hemi hip prostheses, including in young and active people. I have also performed complex revision and reconstructive procedures on the hip joint and proximal femur. I use a wide range of implants, including prostheses with ceramic bearings and dual-mobility systems.

As an active athlete, I also develop my knowledge of sports medicine and of the injuries and overuse conditions associated with it. For many years I have worked as a forensic orthopaedic expert.
