About me

I have been working at Carolina Hospital since 2003. I am a graduate of the Medical University of Warsaw, a member of Polish and international medical societies, and the author of many publications and scientific presentations in orthopaedics and traumatology of the musculoskeletal system. From 2003 to 2013 I served as Scientific Director of the project “Mathematical modelling in the planning of lower-limb osteotomies”, carried out under a contract with the National Centre for Research and Development. I am a reviewer for “The Bone and Joint Journal”.

I specialise in the conservative and surgical treatment of injuries and conditions of the hip, elbow and ankle joints, with particular focus on primary and revision total hip arthroplasty. I was the first in Poland to perform total hip resurfacing operations using the BHR method (Birmingham Hip Resurfacing). To date, I have performed more than 700 such operations. I also carry out corrective surgery for bunions (hallux valgus) and operations for injuries and deformities of the elbow joint.
