In my daily practice I readily use modern, minimally invasive methods such as endoscopic and laser techniques. I perform surgery on salivary glands, lymph nodes and other pathological lesions in the neck area. I also work on improving voice quality in patients with glottic insufficiency, using solutions such as injection laryngoplasty, thyroplasty and laryngeal reinnervation. I also help people with otolaryngological complaints such as sinusitis, tonsillitis, lymphadenitis and pain in these areas. I perform procedures on the ears, including: paracentesis, ear drainage, removal of lesions from the auricle or ear canal, and removal of drains.
Scope of procedures and consultations: nasal septum, turbinates, tonsils, soft palate, neck tumours, salivary gland tumours, sinuses, laryngeal microsurgery, medialisation of the vocal folds, oncological cases, sialoendoscopies, laryngeal paralysis, reduction of nasal fractures, tinnitus.
Procedures under local anaesthesia: cauterisation of blood vessels, conchoplasty, lesion removal, UP2, reduction of nasal fractures, polypectomy.
Education
- 1998–2004 – medical diploma with distinction at the 1st Faculty of Medicine, Medical Academy of Warsaw
- 2011 – doctorate in medical sciences on the basis of the dissertation “Diagnostic and therapeutic management of non-epithelial tumours of the neck”
- 2013 – specialist qualification in otorhinolaryngology
- 2019 – habilitation in medical sciences on the basis of a series of publications titled: “Endoscopic diagnosis of the morphology and function of the vocal folds in patients with pre-cancerous lesions and early glottic cancer, together with an analysis of voice quality and quality of life”
- 2019 – completion of specialist training in audiology and phoniatrics
